We just moved into our first home...an event several years in the making. We started house hunting when we lived in Florida and then changed our minds and moved to Kansas, just about the time we started house hunting there an opportunity in Washington popped up and we were off again. We've lived here for a year now and we decided it was time to bite the bullet and find a place to settle down (at least for a little bit!) and stop throwing so much money away renting.
We have both been excited about becoming home owners for some time so now that we finally are our brains are just churning with ideas and plans for our new casa. We've already been to home depot, sat in the yard for an hour picking mushrooms so our dogs won't eat them (more on that later) and spent many cumulative hours searching for random items packed in ridiculous places.
I used to have a blog that I posted in almost religiously but I haven't been able to work up the motivation to sit down and start it up again. I thought that now might be the perfect time to start over and share some of our adventure's living in our first home.
